India has been moving on shakily throughout the tournament but has managed to reach the final. During the course of their epic journey, they have defeated winners of all previous world cups other than Sri Lanka - champions from 1996! Team India has definetely not forgotten the humiliation at Eden gardens at the hands of Sri Lanka and will like to take revenge while winning the world cup for Sachin and billions of their countrymen who are bleeding blue.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka have been playing extremely good cricket and would like to see it through - even if not as strongly as 16 years ago.
